Pilsen Community Emergency Fund
This fund is for people at extreme risk of eviction due to emergent circumstances. Although the FWFF is providing administrative support for the applications and dispersements, this is a broader community project in collaboration with the 25th Ward Office, local businesses, and fellow community-based organizations.

Donate Supplies
Help us surpass our basic needs by donating food, clothes, or other necessary supplies. Keep an eye out on our events page or follow us on social media to learn about upcoming supply drives and general calls for donations. Dropping off supplies outside of designated drop-off times may result in damaged or unusable donations.
Please contact donations@pilsenfoodpantry.com with questions and to schedule donations.
Below is a list of high-demand items for our pantry.
Unopened, non-perishable items such as:
32-ounce (or smaller) bottles of cooking oil
Powdered milk
Dry seasonings (pepper, salt, garlic, cinnamon, etc)
16-ounce jars of peanut butter
Spaghetti sauce (jar)
2-quart chicken broth, low sodium
Dry pasta (spaghetti, rotini, etc)
Chicken noodle soup (pop tabs preferred)
Corporate Partnerships
We can accommodate volunteer groups of 5-15 adults in different areas of our facilities. Beyond volunteering, corporate partners can also contribute by hosting a supply drive, collecting recycling cans, renting our community space for events, or sponsoring one of our community events.
We also offer group retreats, anti-racism training, team building activities, and cooking classes for your team.
Recycle!
Only about 10% of materials placed in Chicago’s recycling bins are appropriate for recycling so millions of pounds of good quality materials end up in landfills. To do our part, the Pilsen Food Pantry collects crushed aluminum cans. Our metal recycling is sold to a local shredder once a month to support our general operations. Community members can help the Pilsen Food Pantry fundraise in this way even when they cannot donate funds.
Together, we can do more!
There are many ways to support the Pilsen Food pantry! You can volunteer, donate supplies, partner with us for an event, give directly to our operational budget, or connect with us to discover other opportunities.
